Description
Carapace like that of Cytheridea in shape but hinge teeth of RV and median bar of LV not crenulate; surface smooth except for large normal canals, which in fossil forms are sievelike; large vestibule in front part of interior with few short radial canals diverging from it, muscle scars in vertical row of 4, with usually 2 antennal scars in front of upper end of row, one scar being larger than the other, mandibular scars obliquely below, and additional scars higher in carapace.
