Description
Shape similar to that of Cytheridea, but thickest behind middle, some species with posterior extension, smooth; hinge of RV with strongly crenulated terminal teeth and uniting crenulated furrow, also accommodation groove; strongly notched terminal sockets and uniting crenulated bar; muscle scars in row of 4, with another above in front; marginal areas with straight canals; sexual dimorphism pronounced.
