Description
Carapace elongated-oval, kidney-like, LV overlapping RV, anterior end lower and more inclined than posterior; dorsal margin convex, ventral margin straight to slightly concave; inner lamellae moderately developed at ends of valves; surface densely tuberculate, presenting a shagreen appearance, LV hinge a groove open at ends for reception of sharpened edge of RV.
