Description

Hinge holamphidont, with median element smooth or denticulate, Surface smooth, or with longitudinal ridges and furrows, Carapace plump, tapering to narrow rounded posterior; eye tubercle present but not pronounced. [Included with some doubt in Trachyleberididae, as carapace lacks subcentral tubercle.]
