Description
Generally high, lateral outline subtriangular, anterior margin sloping more steeply than posterior, ventral concave in central part, valves globose, LV overlapping RV along free margin and RV overlapping LV along central or posterocentral part of dorsal margin, surface smooth but some shells provided with tubercles or fine spines in posterior part.
